Finding Balance & Connection This National Nutrition Month

Hello and Welcome!

This is my very first newsletter, and I’m so excited to have you here! As a dietitian, my goal is to share insights, encouragement, and practical nutrition tips every quarter to help you navigate your health journey with confidence.

Reflecting and Our Goals

January came and went, February was a blur, and here we are in March! Maybe you set some health goals at the beginning of the year—some you’re proud of, others you may have lost sight of. If you’re wondering, Why did I even bother?, you’re not alone, and it’s okay to feel that way.

This month is a great time to check in with yourself. Are your goals realistic? Do they align with your lifestyle? Most importantly, will achieving them lead to the well-being you truly want? If not, it’s never too late to adjust and set yourself up for success.

March is National Nutrition Month!

This year’s theme, Food Connects Us, is a beautiful reminder that nutrition isn’t just about what we eat—it’s about the relationships, culture, and experiences that food brings into our lives. Whether it’s sharing a meal with a loved one, exploring new cuisines, or simply nourishing yourself in a way that feels good, food has the power to create meaningful connections.

Small Steps, Big Impact

To celebrate this month, I encourage you to take one small action that reinforces the idea that food connects us. Maybe it’s planning a meal with a friend, trying a new recipe from a different culture, or simply being mindful of how food makes you feel. Small, sustainable changes make the biggest difference over time.
